I realize this may be old news to those of you living in the states, but I Am Legend was just released at the theater this week. And, I saw it tonight with a girlfriend.
FYI... if anyone tries to tell you that this movie is not scary DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!! They are flat out lying to you!
I learned my lesson the hard way. I think I finally took a breath once the movie was over. The rest of the time, I held my breath because that's what I do when I'm scared. My heart was racing. My toes were curled. My hands were covering my eyes. My jaw was tense & my teeth were clenched shut.
SCARY!!
I'm too old for this stuff...

Yeah, I saw that too over my Christmas break and it was scary but I knew that going in. Let's just say that it was not my choice for a movie - it ended up not being that great, either. In my opinion.
Thanks for letting us know that! Chris wanted to see it, but after reading the blurb about it, I didn't want to see it because I thought it looked scary. No one I knew could tell me if it really was scary or not...but now I know! Thanks Amberly!
You are cracking me up. Stick with the chick flicks like I do. If it doesn't involve a great actress and a break up plot, I don't see it.
Very interesting blog. We wondered if you would like to list it on our blog directory bigblogcollection.blogspot.com

Josh and I saw that on December 22nd. Neither one of us knew anything about the movie before going in. I had no idea about any of the scary stuff. I actually screamed out loud in the theater at the first jump out person against the car window. That was an extremely tense movie to watch. I felt like I had a workout by the end of the movie... I was totally out of breath/heart racing. That was SUPER SCARY!!!!!
Yes, I am really wishing we would have seen National Treasure...which was my first choice that day! Oh well!
Great Film and Actor.
There is an older version of I AM LEGEND. The Omega Man with Charleston Heston. Great film too but in a different era and style.
take care
There is even an older version than the Charleston Heston film. It was made in 1964 with Vincent Price called "The Last Man on Earth". It was no where near as intense or scary but I watched it with Thomas and was afraid he would have nightmares. He got pretty scared.
Those previews you saw would have terrorized my kids!
Make that Charlton Heston!
