You know you're a mom when...

you lick your thumb to wipe something off your child's face.

I always swore I'd never do this because it's just plain disgusting, but I was forced to do it this morning on our way out the door to school. I went 4 1/2 years without succumbing to this nasty habit, but this morning got the better of me. I felt like a mother cat! Ewwwww...

P.S. It's sleeting, but it sure does look like snow!

I agree it's disgusting, but I've done it before too. I can think of other things a mom has to do that are even more disgusting though, so don't feel too bad.

AMBERLY!!!

I was so excited to find your blog.
(I found it through Stephanie Carroll's). Her bro-in-law Don is one of my husband, Jack's best friends.

Anyways, it's Jenny (Murphy) now Conley from Camp Bandina. What a beautiful family you have. I can't believe we lost touch long enough for you to have 3 kiddos! Congrats!

E-mail when you have a chance. I would love to catch up.

jenny.conley@gmail.com

And you won't believe this, but I live in Wylie, too! What a small world!

Love,

Jenny

Oh yeah... I pick the kids' noses all the time. One of my pet peeves is if I can see *something* in their nose. I have to get it out or it will drive my crazy!! Just ask my parents... they HATE it when I do this!

It's strange that I find putting my saliva on my kids' face so disgusting, but not picking thier noses. Hmmmm...
